However, I love Atlanta so much and all of my intern sisters. This memorial weekend was so much fun hanging out with all of my new best friends. On Friday night we went to The Strip and had a pretty hopping time. I love how Jessica and I are really crazy it just makes my day. We hood girl.
On Saturday we went to Virginia Highlands and had a wonderful time walking about and getting some very good exercise. I miss soccer very much when I go for a run I always consider playing club every semester, but it just never falls into place. However I really think I am going to try and go out for the team this semester and hopefully I will get to relive the excitement I feel whenever I am playing and have the soccer ball at my feet.
Sunday we spent most of the day hanging out and went to a really nice church service at Passion City Church, which is just like Life Church back home. I really enjoying the message and enjoyed sharing my passion for the Lord with all of the other interns.
On this Memorial Day my intern sisters and I celebrated by going shopping at Atlantic Station. Most of us got all that we needed for convention this summer, which was really nice. Then later we went and saw the Hangover Part 2. The movie was good but just not as good as the first one, which was a little disappointing considering it was $10!!! Movies are definitely not that expensive back home so that was a big shock to me.
All and all this weekend was a huge success and cannot wait to work again tomorrow for Alpha Delta Pi to see what other shorts of projects Sally will have for us to prepare for grand convention.
As I look back on May many things have happened in just a short amount of time and I can't believe the path God as put me on and what He was enabled me to achieved. I thank Him every day for my life and know that everything that has happened has happened for a reason. I know that I am very privileged and I hope I can serve everyone I meet to help them along their own path as well. Well that is all I have for now
Peace and Love
